The First Floor: Office, Elevator and Back Porch

Next on the tour is the office. It is accessed through the kitchen. Through the door that is partially open (by the entrance to the kitchen in the photo) is one of the most unique parts of the home.


It's the elevator! It goes from the first floor to the second floor. It was installed by the original owner in the late 50's or early 60's and is still working like a charm!


The office is a nice sized room with two outside entrance doors. One door leads out to the driveway and the other door leads out to the back porch and back yard.


There is also built in bookshelves and storage!


On the way to the back yard from the office, you see the back porch. It features terracotta tiles and stone walls!


It also provided the perfect sized space for a hot tub! It is a private little area of relaxation!

The Second Floor: Master Suite

The Master Suite features a large bedroom, walk in closet with built in storage and a bathroom. (There is also a large sunporch attached to the bedroom which presently serves as a craft room and home schooling room.)


The master bedroom is very spacious. (The photos show a king sized bed.)


The fireplace is tiled and has a gas insert that works like a charm.


The dressing room is through this door.


It is situated between the bedroom and bathroom.


It is the organizer's dream with cedar lined, custom built in storage for shoes and clothes.






Through the dressing room is the master bathroom.


The combination tub and shower are great! The bathtub was made for a comfortable, relaxing soak with its angled back rest!


The vanity features a large amount of storage and double sinks, as well as corner storage cabinets behind the mirror!



The linen closet is good sized, providing even more storage!

The bathroom also features a custom stained glass window!

The Third Floor: Linen Closet, Sitting Area, Bathroom

When you come up the flight of stairs to the third floor...

you will find a large cedar lined linen closet! It features a wall of shelving space and eight large drawers for storage!




The closet even has a small window to let in a little natural light!


There is access to all four bedrooms and the bathroom from the spacious hallway.




There is even enough space for a little sitting area in the hallway. It is a great place to curl up and read a book!

The third floor bathroom carries on that vintage charm.

It has the original deep bathtub and we added a shower, as well.

There are also two mirrored, built in medicine cabinets!
